The Day After Surgery
The next morning I couldn't wait to call up and check on Max. Good news!!!!! He was able to get up and put weight on his leg! That makes your mom sooo proud. They use a sling to help him out to go out to use the potty because he is not ready to be on his own yet. But surgery was yesterday and he already put some weight on his leg! They give him pain meds and a sedation med plus other meds. If all continues he will have his other hip surgery on Friday. Again, I want to make sure my little boy Max is getting some rubs behind the ear and some puppy kisses. Yes, they do love the babies there. Still nervous about the next surgery.............
